Rigging
Experienced and knowledgeable riggers capable of; removing, loading, unloading, or relocating the most sensitive of medical equipment to that heavy oversized 160,000 pound generator set. Many of our rigger employees have been employed with Merchant for over 25 years, and have experience in several trades.


Types of Equipment

Cranes:

Merchant has a variety of Liebherr, Link-Belt, Terex, Broderson, and Manitex truck cranes in its fleet. Crawler crane and rough terrain cranes are also available for that special application.

Forklifts, Jacks,
Skates:

Merchant has forklifts to assist in its operations ranging from 5,000 capacity to 22,000 pound capacity. Hydraulic jacks to 100 ton, nylon wheel skates to 40,000 pound carrying, larger skates for heavier equipment.
 

 

 

Tractors, Flatbeds, Lowboys, Expandable Double Drops:

Merchant has over 50types of trailers in its fleet; 48 foot flatbed trailers to lowboys capable of hauling 150,000 pounds. Double drop expandable machinery trailers are a favorite for that "long, oversized heavy load." Whatever the trailer need, most likely..."we have it!"

 


Specialized Hauling
Merchant, with its fleet of equipment, routinely hauls anywhere in Florida, loads weighing up to 125,000 pounds with dimensions up to 18' high, 16' feet wide and 120'in length.
